NEW: CASA in Action Endorses Juan Arango Millan for Brentwood Town Council

Meet Juan Arango Millán

Juan Arango Millán is a public servant, community organizer, and advocate for working families. He’s running for Brentwood Town Council to make sure local government works for the people — not just a few.

Juan has worked across local and state government, including the Maryland General Assembly and Montgomery County Council, where he’s helped residents access housing, social services, and support navigating complex systems. He’s also partnered with nonprofits, small businesses, and grassroots groups to address everyday challenges — from housing insecurity to food access to environmental justice.

He’s helped:

  • Hold landlords accountable and fight back against unjust evictions

  • Advocate for safe, affordable housing for renters and families

  • Build partnerships that bring investment and opportunities to underrepresented communities

  • Support immigrant families with services that reflect dignity and inclusion

  • Advance initiatives that make our neighborhoods greener, safer, and more connected

Juan believes leadership starts with listening. Whether helping someone navigate a housing crisis or working to expand access to community resources, his commitment has always been rooted in service.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same commitment to Brentwood Town Council — to fight for transparency, equity, and a future where no one is left behind.
